Talking of deck equipment, the Ferretti 550 comes standard with the best Bruce anchor in the world and a 1400W electric windlass that can be controlled at the bows, or helm station. On deck, there is the big sun-bathing pads on the foredeck, and the impressive rear swim deck. The helm station looks like the cockpit of a jet airliner with its bank of radar and other electronics. The skipper enjoys total command from a deluxe leather helm seat. Among the electronic displays is a Geonav GPS chart plotter with radar overlay, plus additional Furuno GPS radar in case of emergencies.
